The Dots

Award-winning* journalist and book designer based in the south-east of England. Bylines in Wired, IGN, Inverse, The Face, History Today, and many more. I’ve worked with a host of publishers as a book designer, including National Geographic, Harper Collins, Pearson, Cambridge University Press, and Osprey. I also offer book design and typesetting for independent authors and publishers.

I really don’t like moths and can tie my shoelaces really well. I dream of someone paying me to watch Korean dramas and/or Pitch Perfect all day. I also dream about losing my car and I don’t know why.

This site represents a focussed portfolio, for a broader look at my work visit The Dots.

If there’s something I can help you with (not shoelaces) please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please note:
I am an ethical designer and journalist. I keep a close eye on clients’ and prospective clients’ records of inclusivity, in particular when it comes to accessibility. I do not work with clients who engage in or with racism, ableism, sexism, or discrimination against the LGBT+ community, or discrimination against any community; however casual it may be. I also endeavour to pursue cruelty-free and environmentally friendly solutions, in print and digital. No client will ever have license to turn my work into an NFT.

*I was once awarded “Most Weird” in secondary school.
